The staff here are very friendly and responsive, and the room is spotless with a comfortable sofa bed in the lounge, for example, we booked it for £120.

May 2011. Cycling weekend in la Rochelle. Four couples in four studios for 3 nights. We all agreed the accommodation was excellent; close to an excellent Le Clerc, close to the bus stop and an easy cycle to the centre (Old town, beach etc). The staff were all very helpful despite our pidgeon French! The food in the Chateau was superb and the underground parking was perfect for or bikes. Can't fault anything and have already agreed to return next year, or sooner!

Value for money was great, the spacious apartment with wifi was a hit with our family, especially our 17-year-old daughter. The location was convenient, with a bus stop right outside for easy access to the town center. The staff, particularly Claire at reception, were friendly and helpful, making our stay enjoyable.
The hotel breakfast menu could use improvement, perhaps by starting earlier and offering more variety.

Well situated, but need a car or taxi to visit La Rochelle town and beach. Accommodation was clean. Breakfast was also good with plenty of choice. Restaurant very good food, and staff very pleasant. Ease and safety of parking, due to not being in the town, which was one reason for booking the hotel (We paid 2 euros extra a night for underground secure parking - but this was not necessary due to its location)
We asked if it was possible to change rooms, as we were situated in Appt 23, further away from reception - which was smaller than our friends (Appt 3) and we had paid 4 euros a night extra by booking online. They had simply rang the hotel direct and quoted a cheaper rate for a larger room with lounge area as well as bedroom. However, although the hotel was not busy, they did not appear to be interested in giving us another room. Coffee percolator was broken and one bedside lamp was not working, but was not replaced during our stay. Apart from that we enjoyed our stay, other facilities were good and our friends had no problems. I guess we were just a bit unlucky

Staff very friendly, access and parking excellent, the adjoining restaurant very good and lovely setting.
Bar closed at 8pm, pool was very cold even though it claimed to be heated.

Ideally placed for the airport and La Rochelle. Hotel had friendly staff and in general there was nothing to complain about for the price. The breakfast is maybe a bit overpriced and the 2 Euro for the parking should be free although it is secure.
Is a bit off the beaten track, unless you fancy eating in the attached resturaunt you need a car.

Conveniently located near major attractions. Good value for the money. The apartment was clean and tidy with all the necessary amenities. We appreciated the privacy and quietness of the location. A definite plus was the ease of access to nearby supermarkets and other conveniences. the bed was very comfortable and the shower provided a powerful stream of hot water.
The apartment complex itself was outdated and could use a bit of a face-lift. The pool area was less than inviting, with no umbrellas for shade, and in the hot sun, the concrete was scorching to the touch.

In a very quiet location, a new development - ideal for a business traveller, or airport stay or if you want to be out of the noise of a city centrelease write at least 15 words
Lacked some soul, felt I was in an episode of "Prisoner"... Quite sereal... Strange place.

There are on site facilities such as pool, small gym and sauna. The restaurant attached to the hotel is excellent.
Access to Internet is only available using a line connection which meant that other devices like iPod could not be connected. A car is needed to get about. Our needs would have been better met within city hotel at this price.
